Top BTCC team, Team Dynamics gave Veterans a dream tour of a Behind-The Scenes look at how Matt Neal and Dan Cammish are taking the British Motor Racing scene by storm.
The boys were treated to an in-depth look at the workshops where the Honda Civic R – FK8 is tuned to the very pinnacle of British motorsport. Ben Durrell, the Team Dynamics Marketing and Promotions Manager gave a great presentation on how the Halfords Yuasa Honda currently tops the championship following a great weekend at Snetterton where triple Champion Matt Neal won the 60th Anniversary Diamond Double race and team mate Dan Cammish scored a great podium 3rd in the first race and an outstanding 4th place in the first two rounds of the day.
The Veterans, supported by the Tommy Atkins Veterans Centre in Worcester were delighted to be given the chance to have a day away from the issues they are dealing with due to their military service and to be treated like VIP’s by the country’s top team.
An addition huge thank you goes to British Mini Championship Drivers Will Neal and Henry Neal, Matt’s sons who entertained the guys helping out with the tour, making the day that extra special.
The Sandbag Times is hugely proud to be associated with Matt Neal and Team Dynamics and would like to publicly thank Matt and the entire team (With a big cudos to Ben Durrell) for the support and devotion they show to our Armed Forces Veterans. They are truly ambassadors to British Motor Racing, BTCC and to Veterans Support in the UK.
