The Sentence Hearing of the Martin-Baker Aircraft Ltd who made the ejector seat involved in the death of Flight Lieutenant Sean Cunningham begins today.
The hearing is scheduled to last two days at Lincoln Crown Court.
The Red Arrows Pilot was killed in 2011 when the ejector seat initiated while the aircraft was still on the ground. The parachute fitted to the seat failed to deploy causing massive injuries. Mr Cunningham was pronounced dead later in hospital.
In a hearing on January 2nd, director John Martin pleaded guilty on behalf of the company to breaching health and safety law.
