A MAN urinated and spat on a memorial to British and Commonwealth sailors killed during World War 1 and World War 2, a court heard. Daniel Grace, 27, has been fined for outraging public decency for desecrating the tribute to fallen Navy personnel.
Grace appeared before Plymouth Magistrates Court where he pleaded guilty to behaving in an indecent manor.
The court heard how on Sunday, August 5, he carried out his sickening act of vandalism on the Navy war memorial on the Hoe in Plymouth, Devon.
Grace, of Plymouth, was fined £80 and ordered to pay £85 costs and a £30 victim surcharge
