  • The Tommy Atkins Centre in Worcester has launched a new service to help veterans in crisis by offering them treatment online using the Rewind Trauma Therapy founded by Dr David Muss. Veterans will be able to access this new service by calling a dedicated helpline where staff will ask a few basic questions and then initiate help.  For veterans in crisis, the medical team will be in contact within 24hrs

  • Sandbag Times Patron and three times British Touring Car Champion Matt Neal will officially open the new Tommy Atkins Centre on 18th January 2019 at the KGV, Brickfields, Worcester. The new facility, supplied by the Worcester Community Trust, came in to operation earlier this month with much improved facilities to support the veterans community in Worcestershire and Herefordshire.   • Tiffany Aching was last seen in Leicester on Thursday 22nd November. On Friday, she expressed suicidal intent via her social media channels, stating “I can no longer fight my black dog. So tonight I’ll sleep eternal”. She has been missing ever since. Tiff recently moved to the Groby area of Leicestershire but the police believe she could be anywhere between Bristol and North Devon.   • Reports are coming in of an incident between Russian Special Forces and the Ukrainian Navy. According to the BBC, a tugboat was seized and at least two Ukrainian Sailors have been injured. It said two gunboats and a tug were captured by Russian special forces after a chase. Two Ukrainian crew members were injured. Russia is yet to comment on the claims.
