The Tommy Atkins Centre, Worcester will be relocating over this coming week to a new premisis.
The King George 5th centre at Brickfields will provide the new site for the Veterans Care Centre. The new building will still accomodate Combat Stress and the Rewind Trauma Therapy by Dr David Muss but with new grounds and improved parking, the centre will be able to offer improved services to veterans in Worcestershire and Herefordshire. As the building is single floor, it will also provide easy access for disabled users. Door to the centre will open on Friday 9th November 2018 with an official opening later in the year.
The centre will be on a trial basis to begin with opening every Friday from 0930hrs – 1430hrs with a second day being planned for early in 2019.
It is also hoped that the new Tommy Atkins Veterans Centre at the KGV will also host the 2019 Armed Forces Day in Worcester.
